Consent agenda with pulled C18 C19 C20

What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Mr. Chairman, I think you've got C eighteen, C19, and C20 that also need to be pulled. Which are not on your poll sheet. They all require Commissioner Oakstead. 1819.

Jack Mariano

So as well as N7.

Lisa Yeager

C nineteen.

Unidentified speakerVoice A

C eighteen, C nineteen, and C twenty.

Lisa Yeager

Well who has to abstain from

Kathryn Starkey

C nineteen?

Unidentified speakerVoice A

She has to abstain from C nineteen. You have to abstain from C eighteen and C twenty. So um C eighteen and C twenty are the are the black what the I could argue it doesn't require an abstention for Commissioner Starkey just because it's The action the board has already taken, which she abstained from, but in an abundance of caution since she abstained from both those actions. Abstaining from the resolution makes sense. C19 is a

landscaping. Uh grant uh redevelopment landscaping grant program for target areas. It is my understanding and Commissioner Yeager can confirm that her husband's business is in that target area and has applied for a landscaping grant. And so in again Legislative items usually don't require abstention, but since there could be a direct benefit to

the Commissioner's husband, I have it recommended that she abstain from this action.

Jack Mariano

Thank you. Thank you. Mr. County Attorney's not always done a great job giving us a very conservative way and a safe way to go, so we appreciate that.
