Roberto on outsourcing engineers and three-month permit review
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Justin, you're you're welcome to the group. Nice to sit nice to get to know you. Roberto has something to say.
Roberto, yes, we can hear you. Did you say
if I have it I haven't tried to work with the microphone and I don't know what is going on, but it's fine. You also wanna make a minor comment in reference to the planning. Um Staff, I'm working right now with the City of Clearwater and Pinellas County and both are working with outsourcing engineers licensed to review the plans and expedite the process. I just give you that as experience. and they reduce the time. from
six to eight weeks the first revision to two weeks. So I just put that out there because it's something I really consider. Also, I have a permit in planning right now and is for over three months. And and I understand you're extremely busy and you're doing your best, but maybe this will be a a good tool and I understand every single department has the inter intern procedures, and the ideal is that the people who is in charge to review the plans are familiar with the county.
But this is something that is out there basing the how busy every single department, not just Pasco County. are at this point. And the good part of that is uh of course you're going to p pa pay for a prime but you don't need to pay for any type of benefits or anything like that. Because you never know that we're going to ha be less busy, but just give it that.
Okay, thank you for your comment.
Roberta, while we have you, did you vote on the last item?
I would and say yes. Okay. I'm sorry.
Okay, thank you.
