What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

I believe you should divide

Connected City

the United States of America, into the Republic for which it stands, one nation, a God, invisible, liberty, justice for all.

GreyChair

All right. Adam, could you look all please?

Unidentified speakerVoice A

Change it already? Yeah.

Yeah. Here.

Here.

GreyChair

Okay.

Yeah motion to approve the minutes please

Unidentified speakerVoice A

motion to approve the meeting minutes from January twenty second, May 7th, and June eleventh, and the workshops on April 9th and May 21st. Mr. Chairman

Chris Williams

I'd uh I think there's a correction that needs to be made on

Oh May twenty first, I think.

GreyChair

May twenty first.

Chris Williams

If they check that 'cause it indicates um I was in attendance, which I was, and did a presentation, but then a couple of times it refers to m um Mr. Divine as representing me. So if they can correct that particular reference.

GreyChair

Okay.

Chris Williams

Oh mail, it worked fine.

GreyChair

Okay.

So we have a motion and uh second second with an amendment to remove Mr. Devine from the minutes of the May 21st meeting. Other than that, you're making a motion to approve the amendments that submitted without one correction. Right?

Chris Williams

Yep. Correct.

GreyChair

Okay, so we have a motion and a second. Any further discussion on the motion? All in favor, signify by saying aye. Aye. Opposed, like, sign. All right.

Okay, well I'd like to welcome everybody today. We're at the Planning Commission. We meet twice monthly. We're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. We serve with the Planning Agency and we hold public hearings and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners our recommendations and comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning. And conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative

standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any development code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where we make a recomm recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend that Board of County Commissioners. So for those of you who are not familiar with the meeting, uh the meeting format, we have three sections, continuances, consent items,

and regular items. We'll go through uh uh each of those and uh as I call for uh continuances if there's um It's been our custom to approve continuance requests from the staff or the applicant unless there are extenuating circumstances. I'll also then I'll go through the consent items, any of the consent items if there is someone here who wishes to speak on any of the items currently on

consent. then we will pull it from consent and put it on with the regular items which will be fully heard and vetted. Um applicants will have five minutes to make presentations and the questionnaires from the audience will have three minutes to state their questions and we'll those will be timed when you see the red buzzer go off that your time is up.

There m there is an opportunity for people at least twenty four hours prior to this meeting in writing. If you want extra time, you may be granted extra time. You may not, but he also may be. Um

The uh What we want to try to do is if you have a phone with you, please put it in the silent position so it doesn't go off when somebody's speaking. I'll do the same thing.

And uh before we start, is there anybody here that's here to speak on an item that is not on today's agenda?

Okay. So before we start the testimony, let me uh just ask anyone that's planning to speak today to raise your right hand and be sworn.

All right, thank you.

Moody

Mr. Chairman we do not have any individuals signed up for public comment and I just wanted to note we do not have any individuals signed up to speak in opposition online as well.

GreyChair

Okay, thank you very much. All right, so let's begin.
