So we have no minutes to approve, so we'll move on to the instructions. The Planning Commissioner appointed by the County Commissioner and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing Transmit to the Board of County Commissioners' recommendations on competent plan.

Development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions, certain appeals. variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any comprehensive plan uh amendment, land uh development, code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation

to the Board of County Commissioners It's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners meeting. For those of you who are not familiar with the format of our meetings. Uh the proceedings are as follows continuances Uh it's been our c custom to approve a request for uh continuance by the applicant or the staff, unless there are extenuating circumstances. uh such as the convenience of the affected parties. Uh then there are consent agenda items. Those are items

where we have received no letters of objection from the public. or from the staff. Mm and it'll be placed on the consent agenda and it will be read item by item. In this case we have one. Uh if you wish uh uh that item to be pulled from the consent agenda, raise your hand or speak up and we'll pull it for consideration. And then we have the regular items, those items not placed on consent. or approved for continuance will be a part of the regular agenda. Meeting. Applicants

will have three minutes to make their presentation. Objectors will have three minutes to respond. Uh five minutes by the applicant, three minutes for the
