PDE250144 River Stone Renner development agreement continuance

What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

75. We have proof of publication in the March nineteenth, 2025 edition of the Tampa Bay Times, where it was continued at a May 6th 2025 board meeting to May 20th, where it was continued to June 17th, uh 2025, where it was continued to today.

Ron Oakley

Item P75 is PDE 250144. This is the development agreement in the name of River Stone, formerly known as Renner M PUD. That was the name of the development agreement. This is a request to continue the item to the August 5, 2025, Board of County Commissioners meeting at 1:30 p.m. in Dade City, though the memo says August 19. The request is made by the applicant with PDE support since this is a project in the middle of

the county and is not changing anything as it relates to density, intensity, design, land use or anything like that, but is just an amendment to a provision of the development agreement.

Unidentified speakerVoice B

So you're asking them to continue it to the city meeting on August fifth.

Ron Oakley

Correct. Move approval for continuum.

Kathryn StarkeyChair

Uh this was ad was this

Unidentified speakerVoice B

It was advertised as a continuance. It was advertised for a different date. I I you can see you can see if there's anybody in the in the audience that wishes to speak to this one.

Kathryn StarkeyChair

Yeah. Is there anyone here wishing to speak to this one?

Jack MarianoVice Chair

Madam Chairman

Kathryn StarkeyChair

Mariano

Jack MarianoVice Chair

I mean to continue to a different district, um, even though it's advertise for a different date. I mean I don't know if we want to

Kathryn StarkeyChair

Well we're here in Dade City so we didn't have an issue of the right-of-way. So somebody

Jack MarianoVice Chair

thinks it's gonna come up for the nineteenth and now they show up on the nineteenth instead of the fifth. You've caused confusion.

Kathryn StarkeyChair

Well there's that.

County Attorney?

Unidentified speakerVoice B

That's completely up to the board. That's

Ron Oakley

It wouldn't show on August nineteenth. The only way it would show on August nineteen is if you continued it from here to August nineteenth.

Jack MarianoVice Chair

But it's advertised continued to August

Unidentified speakerVoice B

nineteen. It was shown in today in today's agenda that was published online as August.

Jack MarianoVice Chair

Right. So if someone looked at that and they they just thought that okay it's gonna be continued that day 'cause it always is. Now it gets shifted two weeks earlier, someone may miss that date.

Unidentified speakerVoice A

I don't believe that was on the agenda per per se, it's on our notes here, but The agenda didn't it shows a continuation request. The

Unidentified speakerVoice B

motion on the the motion on the agenda item shows it for the nineteenth. Yeah.

Jack MarianoVice Chair

I think we should stick to the nineteenth.

Kathryn StarkeyChair

Oh, this is about um their obligations to the road and how many houses have to be completed in time. So

Unidentified speakerVoice B

this was a project that was The board was the one that had the issue, not particularly the neighbors. It was if you recall this was the the the sheriff, Mr. Gadd and I'm okay with the fifty.

Seth WeightmanSecond Vice Chair

Okay.

Kathryn StarkeyChair

All in favor? Aye. Wait, did I get a second?

Seth WeightmanSecond Vice Chair

Second.

Kathryn StarkeyChair

I I and the motion he had so

Unidentified speakerVoice B

it's moved to continue to August August fifth at one thirty or soon thereafter is the same maybe here. Correct.

Kathryn StarkeyChair

Okay,
