Okay, well I'd like to welcome everybody today. We're the Planning Commission. We're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing. And transmit to the Board of County Commissioners' recommendations. on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments. rezoning and conditional use of requests. Planning commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions, certain repeals, variance requests, However, final decisions
may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. Anyone is in opposition to any development code amendment rezoning? conditional use or any item. uh where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners that it's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners. Those of you are not familiar with the format of the meeting. We have three segments. They will have continuances. Those are where the uh staff or the applicant has Have requested
a continuance for any number of reasons. It's our tradition to Uh approve those continuances unless there are extenuating circumstances. Uh then we have consent and those are items that we've not received any objection from the staff or from the public and uh We'll go through those items one by one. If there's something on the consent agenda that You want heard, please raise your hand and we'll pull it off. for consideration and put it on with the regular item. That's the third s section. Those
those will be fully vetted. Applicants will have three minutes uh to make their presentation. And uh questioners will have three minutes to respond, to uh ask their questions, and then the applicant will have a chance to come back in and answer those questions. Um
