What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Right, there you go. Uh I I'd like to say uh Commissioner Starkey brought up a good point about landscaping, how we need to make sure we take care of our properties. Um Little Rose Park Library doesn't have landscaping on it, so I think uh Mr. Bowers, if you could take a look at that, that would be something to Do especially we do improvements. Remodel. I read down the road remodel. Uh

County Administrator

that'll be done as part of the remodel.

Okay. Um on uh Green Key Boulevard, uh the city's got a some property in this actually a county of property of Budding where they got a development coming in. Uh I think it's It's time we we t we take a close look at that and maybe bring something back to the board on it. Uh that's an ideal place to actually have a nice ride out to the street. So you can see a sunset. Right now the road is very bad. Um there's enough room on some areas we could put a trail out there as well. So we could take a look

at doing that and bringing something back at some point. I think it'd be good. Uh I want to thank uh Parks Department for putting in the uh Uh agenda item approved today for a small boat ramp up in Sunwest. I think it's gonna be a good health. And uh those who didn't get out there, I didn't get out there obviously. Um but the uh Shrimp and Crab Fest was a great success, great weather, and another event coming up on March 20th. And on the separate skill program. That's uh done a report on. Two areas came out very

highly scored. Uh one was at Elfers and the other was at Sea Pines and staff is working on some grants for that. So keep keeping that coming up. And uh one thing I think we heard two people today talking about the mass coordinates. I've got a lot of information coming in. I got a lot of people still want to tell me about it. Happy to see Texas is leading the way with about 20 other states about getting rid of it. And I say get getting rid of it, they still recommend it, but they don't make it mandatory. Uh I would like to know if anyone

on the board have any second thoughts about changing that in a scordinance?

All right. That's all I have, Mr. Chairman. Thank you.
