1:57All right. Well I'd like to welcome everybody today and uh For those who have not been here before. Just give you a brief overview of how we run the meeting. We have uh three sections, but we're the planning commissioner and we're appointed by the county commissioners. We make twice monthly. Uh we serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearings. Transmit to the Board of County Commissioners. Our recommendations. On comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. The

2:28Planning Commission is the final decision making body, however. For special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed. To the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any recommendation that we make. Uh to the County Commission. Uh It's important that uh you attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners to voice your uh further concerns.

2:59Um for for those of you ha again who are have not been to these meetings before We have uh three segments uh that we uh go through. First our continuances were the applicant or that usually the staff has asked for a continuance for any number of reasons. been our uh tradition to approve those request for continuance, uh, unless there are extenuating circumstances. We have consent agenda. And those are items where the applicants have

3:29uh Submitted their application. We've not received any objections. uh from uh people who have been on notice uh in the area or from the staff. And uh those will uh those we'll go through those at one at a time. If there are any on the uh on the consent agenda that you'd like to have heard. as we go through there. Just raise your hand and uh we'll pull it from consent and put it on the regular agenda. Which is the final uh area where we cover anything that's on the regular agenda that

4:00is not on continuance or on consent. Any applicants uh we'll have uh Three minutes to uh present their um The petitions. And the uh And following the presentations. Uh anyone here to speak about it, question about it, or speak against it? We'll have uh three minutes to present their s uh Yeah. And then the uh applicant will have five minutes to come up and respond to any concerns

4:30that people may have. Um And if there's been a request at least twenty four hours prior to this meeting, in writing For extra time. We may decide to grant extra time if you have a valid reason. Um, and I think I've only received one of those. Is that right?
