We have minutes to approve.
Yeah, we do have me minutes from the uh April 21st meeting. Um one very minor just note correction. I think it's just a typo in the minutes on page seven of eighteen. Fourth paragraph. Second to last line in the paragraph it mentions it says they could not decrease a runoff to the well. I think that should be wetland. Just a minor change or something you just note that. And then I'll move approval with that revision?
Second. All right, so we have a motion to approve the amendments as amended. And we have a second. Any further discussion on the motion? All in favor signify by saying aye. Aye. And A like sign? Okay, Mike Carries.
So I'd like to welcome everybody and tell you that we're the planning commission. We're appointed uh by the county commissioners, the board of county commissioners, and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency. Ha! And we hold public hearing and uh transmit for the Board of County Commissioners Recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions, certain appeals,
variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appr uh appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any comprehensive plan amendment, land development code amendment. Rezoning. conditional use or any item. where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners It'd be important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners. Those of you not familiar with the format of our meetings. They
are as follows. We have three sections. We have continuances. And it was occasionally we get requests from the staff or the applicant for a continuance since are accustomed to Grant those requests unless they're extenuating circumstances. And we also have consent agenda items. Items that are on consent that um We have not had any objections to from the public or the staff. It we'll go through those one at a time. If there's anything on consent that someone
one in the audience wants to Here, please raise your hand and we'll put it pull it off consent for discussion. And it'll go on to the regular items. Those are the items that we'll fully vet. Uh during this meeting. So the applicants will have three minutes. To make their presentation. And and the questioners will have three minutes to come up and state their concerns. And uh
uh applicant will have an opportunity to come back up and uh respond to those concerns. If there's many requests, uh, in writing at least twenty four hours prior to this meeting for additional time. It may be granted and I believe we do have one or two I'm not mistaken.
Mr. Chair, you do have one request for fifteen minutes time that you have granted, which is on item PC five. All right.
