What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

All right. Thank you very much.

I'd like to welcome everybody again today and uh Give you a brief uh account of what we're gonna do today. We're uh Planning commission and we're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. We meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency to the Board of County Commissioners and rec and rec make recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exception

in certain appeals and variance requests. Certain alternative standard requests. However, any decisions we make here today may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. Anyone is in opposition to any uh land development re uh approval. Uh Or planning com or uh any item where the planning commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. it'd be important for you to attend the appropriate county commission meeting. Those of you not familiar with

the contents of the meetings. We have three sections, continuances, consent items, and regular items. It's been our custom to ru to grant continuances to the applicant or to the staff if they're making a recommendation to continue, unless they're extenuating circumstances. Um otherwise they will um B Passed on today. And uh then followed by consent.

We'll go through the consent i consent items one at a time as we raise the consent items as y you hear them read, we will Um Ask if there's anyone here to object. If there is, we'll be happy to pull it from consent. And put it in with the regular items. And those are the items that will be fully heard today. And um The applicants will have five minutes to present their uh request and anybody in the audience who has questions about The

application will have three minutes to ask those questions. uh then the res the applicant will have an opportunity to come back up and and try to answer the questions.

Um

If there's been a request uh for extra time, uh at least twenty four hours prior to this meeting in writing. Um we do we have any for requests for extra time?

Moody

Uh we do not have requests for any additional time, Mr. Chair. We I would also like to note we don't have anybody signed up on WebEx, but we do have individuals signed up for general public comment today.
