Call to order invocation pledge and roll call

What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

We're gonna get started in fifteen seconds. I'm missing a lot of commissioners. I'm not sure why.

Okay. Good morning and welcome to the B O C C meeting. Oh where's this? Yeah, I don't have a quorum. Here they come. You guys are good because I don't have my uh Katie, where's my script?

Okay. I'd like to call to order the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners, 10 a.m. meeting of May 20th, 2025. At this time, silence all electronic electronic devices devices and mute your microphones. Please rise for the invocation and the pledge. And we have someone to give us an invocation this morning. Good morning.

Let's pray. Well father, we've come once again to discuss important matters in the County Lord and so we ask that you Uh give us the wisdom to be able to respond to uh the needs and concerns of our community. But we also have come together today to recognize some important folks, Lord We lift up all of our public works figures, uh all of our people who are working tirelessly to make sure that everything is working,

that's supposed to work, Lord. I just ask a special blessing on them as they go about uh their work. Uh often unrecognized. So thank you for them, Lord. I also lift up our EMS workers today, Lord, Uh they are out and about twenty-four hours a day responding to the needs of our people. So ask a special blessing on them and your arms of protection as they go about doing their job. So thank you for gathering us for these purposes and ask

that you be with us, guide us, and all that you would have us to do. And I lift us all up in your name. Amen.
