Good afternoon, Commissioner. Christina Cordone, Assistant Director of Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources. Um so before you is the final rate resolution for the Gulf Harbors MSBU.
Um so a little bit of back history. Um in at the bay at the May 19th board meeting, the board um approved a resolution to move forward with a fund transfer to fund capital improvement projects for the Gulf Harbors neighborhood park. Um and so this step would kind of be the last step to solidify that um fund transfer. And so this resolution is to ensure that the MSBU rate is set at $100 and
that $100 would be for a 10-year repayment plan. And that would cover the cost for the repayment for the general fund transfer that we have.
Um and so as a reminder, um Gulf Harbors has an uh advisory committee. And so prior to that May uh board meeting, the advisory committee um reviewed some survey poll that was provided from the community um about whether they wanted to keep the assessment at $100, possibly increase the assessment, um, or you know. move forward with a loan or a general fund transfer or leave it as be. And so the advisory committee
made a recommendation to the board. Um to move forward with that fund transfer. So in order to kind of finalize that fund transfer and ensure we have a mechanism to pay that fund back, this would be the final step for that um process.
So, um, so um
Staff and the advisory committee um recommend moving forward with setting the final rate res uh final rate at $100 with a 10 year repayment plan.
