AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 42, ARTICLE III (EMERGENCY DROUGHT CONDITION FIRE HAZARD ORDINANCE) AND AMENDING CHAPTER 46, ARTICLE IV (OPEN BURNING), SECTIONS 46-73 and 46-75 OF THE PASCO COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES; REPEALING CURRENT PROCEDURE FOR BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DECLARE AND END BURN BANS BY RESOLUTION; DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO PASCO COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR OR HIS/HER DESIGNEE TO INTITATE BURN BAN WHEN HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS EXIST, REQUIRING NOTICE OF BURN BAN TO BE POSTED ON COUNTY WEBSITE DURING TIMES BURN BAN IN EFFECT; RE-CODIFYING EXCEPTIONS TO BURN BAN WITHIN EXISTING “OPEN BURNING” REGULATIONS CONTAINED IN CHAPTER 46; PROVIDING FOR APPLICABILITY IN UNINCORPORATED PASCO COUNTY AND IN MUNICIPALITIES; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR TRANSMISSION OF AMENDMENTS TO DEPARTMENT OF STATE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
