R eighty four. Ms. Pearson.

Kathy Pearson

Good morning. Kathy Pearson, Assistant County Administrator of Public Services. Congratulations, Commissioner Oakley, Commissioner Starkey, Commissioner Mariano, and welcome and congratulations, Commissioner Fitzpatrick. So I'm here before you to ask for your confirmation for Apollo Barracado to be the Director of Support Services. Director of Support Services is going to oversee our veterans and our fiscal and also act as our program administrator with special projects for our branch.

We did advertise the position and we had six applicants that applied. And Paula came up on top. She is uh what can I what can I say about Paula? We all love Paula, she's probably one of the most professional, dedicated public. service that I've ever met. And I am so honored and humbled that she's going to be working for the public services branch. You know, Paula's been with us since 2011. She's had various positions throughout the county, most recently as the Chief of Staff to our

County Administrator. She is a dedicated, dedicated person, and I know she's going to bring some great positive energy to the public services branch with the rest of the great positive energy team that we do have. She just recently graduated with a certified public manager. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida in political science and international studies, as well as a master's degree in public policy and administration from Northwestern University. So with that, I am requesting

that you respectfully confirm Ms. Paulabara Kalo is the new director of support service. Yeah. I
