Almighty God, Creator and Sustainer, we thank you for this new year, a chance to conduct our civic business. I ask that you'll bless every member represented here today, their families. We ask for protection for our police, our firemen, and rescue teams, first responders, school teachers, doctors and nurses, and children of this community. Thank you for your blessing. Amen.
