1:35Alright. So for those of you who haven't been to a meeting before, I'll give you the instructions and uh tell you, you know, in what order we're going. But in the meantime, if anybody is planning to speak today, if you believe please stand, raise your right hand and be sworn.

2:09So I'd like to welcome everybody today with the Planning Commission and we meet twice monthly and we're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. We serve as a local planning agency, hold public hearing, and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners our recommendations on comprehensive plan. Plan amendments, land development code amendments, resilience and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission, which is this group, is the final decision-making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests,

2:40and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any Land Development Code Amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners. We have two we have really three sections typically in our meetings. One would be for continuances

3:11and it's been our custom to grant a continuance when it's uh been requested by the staff or the applicant um for any number of reasons. And uh We also have consent items. Those are items where they're presented to us and there are no objectures or no nobody wants to speak on the item other than the applicant. And then we have the regular items. Those are items where it will be the topic will be fully valid. And

3:42you'll have an opportunity, the public will have an opportunity to speak on those items. Under consent, if there's an item on consent that I read and you'd like to have it discussed, raise your hand, please, and I'll pull it from consent and put it on with the Reagan eye. Items. Applicants will have five minutes to make their application known to us, and the questioners, meaning the audience, will have three minutes. And the timer's up here on

4:12the on the podium. And when that red light goes off, that's three minutes.

4:21This is also a time where we take public comment. If there's somebody here that uh has an item they'd like to speak to that's not on today's agenda, um I'll ask you to come up and state your concerns or questions.
