Move approval. Second. All in favor say aye. Aye. Aye. Mr. Rokley. Yes, sir.
Glad to see the veterans coming forward today. But if all two hundred and fifty thousand came in, we'd have make a bigger building here, I guess. So uh I thank you for your service and all those in Pasco County for their service. Uh I always perk up when they talk about seniors or veterans at the DS because I am one. So I uh I appreciate your service and really thank you. wholeheartedly for for all that you did to serve the County to save our way of life here in
the United States and also to give us the people that really are out front that are keeping us safe and it's not a ending job anytime soon. It's one we're gonna continue and uh many, many veterans in the future. I'm a Vietnam era veteran made by Congress. due to the fact that in when Vietnam veterans came back home after the after their service they had to change in civilian clothes because
they were not uh welcomed home like a lot of veterans in World War Two and other and Korea and other veterans. But they um served a little bit more of a tour from citizens that had uh the wrong thoughts in our mind for what the veterans actually did to protect us and save us. Do you have anything to say? Any of you? Or all of you. So
Good morning, Commissioners. Uh Paul Bracaldo, Director of Support Services. These gentlemen are so, so humble. But I really would like to highlight and thank uh all veterans, their service, their sacrifice to support our nation, uh, their families, and of course our veteran services team who serves over fifty thousand veterans across our community. Uh that being said, I'd also Like to thank all veterans that are present here in our meeting and also all of those who are listening to
us for all the work and contributions that they continue to make our community to make us better every day. And with that I'm gonna leave it to Dave, our veteran services manager, uh, who can share a few words.
Thank you, Paula. This year I took the time to write some notes down so I wouldn't forget like I did last year. Thank you for recognizing our county veterans and their sacrifices to serve our nation. Thank you to the Board of County Commissioners and staff for hosting this and allowing us the time to speak. Uh thank you for the opportunity. Uh we stand here representing your County Veteran Services office with steadfast devotion and service to our fellow citizens and veterans of the county. And I'd personally like to thank you for the opportunity to continue serving with a mission
or purpose. I appreciate
it. I also like to thank the fact that in Pasco County we have three veteran offices and they do a very good job across our county and serve our veterans very well. So I'm very appreciative of the staff and all that operate those offices 'cause you do a great job doing that. Thank you for those kind work. Thank you. Thank you. Yes.
