P one is an ordinance amending Chapter ninety of the Pasco County Code of Ordinances, Article two, Solid Waste Collection and Disposal, Divisions One and Two, All Sections, and Article three, Disposal Fees and Charges. Division one, sections ninety dash ninety one, ninety dash ninety three, and Division two, sections ninety Through 116, providing for repealer, providing for severability, providing for applicability, providing for inclusion in code, providing an effective date. So this was the ordinance that was previously introduced at the June second meeting, and really this ordinance is is primarily designed to provide some more direction to our haulers. So setting out some more service standards and some specific violations uh for repeated occurrences like missed pickup. or or damaged uh equipment in people's homes. We've also added a few things in, again mandating commercial recycling to be provided in those areas where it is currently not. Um and we did prevent a hauler meeting back in January and then and

1:40we did allow for some space to receive feedback from the haulers when the ordinance was uh initially introduced. I'll go ahead and next slide.

1:48Um really again this is to to provide some direction and and we do have a good working relationship with our haulers. Uh as we talked about this morning, you know, there has been a a big jump up in trash and and they've done a good job in handling that, but it's just laying out the requirements uh to provide the service. uh to the county citizens. Uh another thing that we added in there was uh allowing the county to come back in and do audits to make sure that the haulers are charging under the maximum ceiling for the solid waste rates that are set. 2:27Yes, sir. Wasn't long ago a few months back we had a uh one of the hollowers had a leak in the hydraulics and it damaged like two and a half roads. And uh we spent most of the day negotiating it out. But they went out they went out and ended up kidding up kid and reimbursed and reimbursed.

2:45Uh is that is that risk provision in here and in here?

2:47Yeah. Exactly.

2:54Yes. So the question was b back a few months ago we had a hollow that had a leap in a hydraulic line, ruined about two and a half roads. Took us all day, we finally got it negotiated to where they were gonna repair, replace, which they did. Um and I just want to make sure that was in the ordinance as well.

3:10Yes, it is included in the ordinance update. So it'll be a little bit more defined about how they would go about reimbursing us for things like leaking hydraulic fluid or leaking trust.
