I'm sorry, item P Penny for P four? Okay. Um was published in the Tampa Bay Times April fifth, twenty twenty.

Denise

PDD 200489 Denise Hernandez Planning and Development Ordinance of Amending Costco County Comprehensive Plan, providing for a large scale comprehensive plan, text amendment to the future land use element, goal future land use five, Conerton Newtown and the future land use elements, section future land use A-6 definitions of future of the future land use classifications, and map amendment to the Vished Highway Vision Plan, Map 7-36, providing for a repealer, severability and an effective date today that we ask you to adopt the proposed comprehensive plan amendment uh through roll call vote.

Moore

Thank you, Ms. Hernandez. I would assume the applicant is on the the line or representation? Mr. Hobby is on line for

Unidentified speakerVoice A

Mr.

Moore

Hobby, good afternoon.

Unidentified speakerVoice B

This is Clark Hobby, Hobby and Hobby PA 109 North Brush Street, Tampa, Florida. Um we have no objection to staff's recommendation and would ask you to approve the comp plan amendment, but I want to point out one thing. I think we may have one speaker who spoke on the morning agenda who has a question about an earlier comp plan amendment that's not uh Affecting Connerton, I believe. Um and I just want the board to know that w nothing we're

doing in this plan amendment or the map changes for the Highway Vision Network affects Aaron Cutoff or Collier Parkway in any way.

Moore

Thank you, sir. Any questions for the applicant? Any questions for the applicant? If you want to stay by Mr. Hobby until we're done. Madam Clerk, do we have anybody signed up to speak on this item?

Starkey

We do. There are three individuals on the WebEx. The first person is Stephen Henr Henry.

Okay. Mr. Henry, may you name it and address for the record, please? Okay. Oh Steve Henry's with the applicant. Okay, go ahead, Mr. Henry.

Unidentified speakerVoice C

Mr. Chairman Mariano. I'm

Starkey

just here to answer any questions if there are any

Moore

questions. All

right.

So is everybody. Is there anybody that's online that's

Starkey

there's others?

Moore

That's not with the applicant. That's my question. I

Starkey

would not know.

Unidentified speakerVoice C

Mr. Henry is with the applicant, I believe. Kelly Love is with the applicant, I believe. Mr. Parks is a member of the public. So this is the

Moore

gentleman that spoke this morning.

So we have one person. From the community that's speaking. Okay. Let's go ahead and pull him up then.

Kathy Pearson

Okay.

Moore

Mr. Rob

Kathy Pearson

Park. Mr. Park, please state your name and address for the record and start your comment.

Rob Park

Uh park [address removed]. T four. Uh this ordinance doesn't look anything like the permit application to the Army Corps. The ordinance includes some of the changes I commented about to the Army Corps. However, there's no reason for the Conerton Boulevard to continue to air and cutoff. There's too much traffic on Air and Cutoff. Instead, expedite the future Carlier Parkway

extension and traffic off the air and cutoff where there are already established homesteads close to the road. Doing this would also legitimize ordinance nineteen dash twenty. Right.

Moore

Thank you.

Okay, thank you. Um we need to change the screen, would you please back to the

Sorry, sir, give me one second.

Thank you. Okay. So Ms. uh Commissioner Starkey does have a question.

Starkey

Um I didn't read the whole thing. There's a l there's a lot here, but I was curious about the strikeouts. for the downtown Conerton principles and standards.

Moore

Okay. So either staff or Mr. Hobby or one of your associates? Yeah.

Unidentified speakerVoice B

Can you all hear me? This is Clark Hobbit.

Moore

Yeah, we can. We can hear you loud and clear.

Unidentified speakerVoice B

Okay. Uh Commissioner Starkey, we moved a lot of things around within the agenda item, but we didn't actually take the standards out for downtown Conerton. They were moved into a new section that's just for village three slash four, which is what we're doing here. And really a big part of what we did was just to reorder. Organize it so that it has specific standards for three and four. We are very much committed to creating the downtown Conerton concept that's been part of Conerton

since we began. And a lot of the uh connectivity plan that we've been working on that you'll see is part of the MPUD when it comes forward in a couple of months relates to connectivity to downtown Conerton.

Starkey

Excellent, because I think that project will be so good for Land O' Lakes. I'm real excited about this project. So Okay.

Unidentified speakerVoice B

Yeah.

I think he was, you know, making a larger point about maybe some land use issues that relate to the area in general, but just for the board's benefit, we're simply showing the Highway Vision Map roads on there and Collier and Aaron Cutoff as they are already shown in the comprehensive plan and we're required. to show them that way. So unless the board changes to make uh changes to get rid of errand cutoff as a a highway vision map roadway, we must show it on

our maps. Understandable.

Moore

Thank you sir.

Unidentified speakerVoice B

Any

Unidentified speakerVoice C

other questions, sir Mr. Chairman M for for purposes of the record, can I get somebody to confirm that there's no one at the kiosk for this item? Sure. Go ahead.

Moore

I did ask that earlier, but we can do it again.

And I said is there anybody in the hallway?

Starkey

There are two people in the hallway, but for item P twelve is what information that I have.

Moore

Okay, thank you.

Starkey

And they are on the list, um Darlene Degan and Janine Bruno.

Moore

Okay.

So to confirm there's nobody else that would like to speak to this item and I'll put it back to the board.

Oakley

Commissioner Oakley moves approval.

Moore

Motion by Commissioner Oakley, second by Commissioner Mariano. Madam Clerk, please call the roll.

Starkey

District One, Commissioner Oakley.

Moore

Aye.

Starkey

District three, Commissioner Starkey. Aye. District four, Commissioner Weightman. District five, Commissioner Mariano. Aye. District two, Chairman More.

Moore

Aye. Motion passes. Thank you so much. And we'll wait for everybody to disengage. We move on to our public hearing.

Okay.
