That's good.

Kathryn StarkeyVice Chair

Mr. Chairman. I agree. It looks so much better. But um looking at the photos, first I'll say in the last photo, he has illegal festoons. Um and uh I I personally think that we should be um doing away with s chain link and and Bob Wire on on our major roads. I think um I know at least definitely on fifty four and fifty six where you know we're trying to be a

Premier County we shouldn't be having chain link fences. And and Bob Wire on top. That's that's a very old backwards kind of look.

Ron OakleyChair

Well you gotta remember there on 56 there are some areas that still have cattle on them, so you have to have

Kathryn StarkeyVice Chair

not drifted and commercial prisoners. Yeah. Yeah. Um And um and just as we look at the landscape codes and updating the land development codes, um if you look in any nice city or county driving through Sarasota or somewhere, you're not gonna see chain link. And also um we should have a requirement the chain link has to be properly maintained. I I see a lot of times and I saw it in these photos where it's

not hooked to the pole and it's fallen over. So um I just think you need to look at that, but I think the landscape looks tremendous and It's a a great program and I encourage more companies to do it. What an improvement.
