No chair. Yeah. Could I question this real quick?
Yeah.
Okay, go ahead. Item P sixty seven was published in Tampa Times on December twenty second, twenty twenty one. Thank you. Yeah.
Thank you, ma'am. Is this the same item that was heard last week during the um Planning Commission meeting?
So is that's referring to
P sixty six. No,
we're on P sixty seven. We're on sixty
seven. We're on sixty seven, yeah. P sixty six was the one I think that was continued from the Planning Commission last Thursday. Correct.
Yeah, cross park. Wasn't this the the housing, uh the uh additional housing for Um people with special needs. With um Department of Children with um the Rap House and
One second, please. I don't know. Bleam Divine Planning and Development. So the the item for P sixty seven that's being requested is actually along Plath Road. Um it's about a mile west of Newport Corners. This was going to be rezoned to an MF1 um for uh townhouses and apartments. Oh so this is different. Um the other item you're talking about um I do believe is due back to um planning committee.
So th that's the one that was the ALF. The ALF is going back to March 3rd. Okay, so it didn't say that here. That's I was a little confused. So I watched the
Let me clarify that P sixty six.
has entitlements for assisted living facilities. Right. P sixty six is a comprehensive plan amendment to amend the sub-area policy at this stage. And there will be there would be a subsequent MPUD associated with that.
So w so to continue my questioning, um I watched the Planning Commission meeting when this item came out. You watched it too, yeah. Um and Mr Goldstein You know, he's not here now. Um but he had requested an economic analysis on this item. Is that what you guys are moving forward with?
We're
referring it to Dave Ingalls. Yeah, we're
we're we're working on gathering the information that was requested at the local planning agency in time for the March three planning committee or L P A local planning agency. 'Cause
I I was listening to some of the comments and one of the comments uh reference that A apartment complex has generates the same possibly generates the same amount of employment as a assisted living facility, which is night and day.
No I was it is I watched it and I heard that question answered and you answered it and you said
The employment generation potential of the ALF as compared to the project. And the project itself, uh I only got halfway through the analys my take on the project where I did compare the employment generation of the apartment uses with the uh administrative and nursing staff of the ALF, then the discussion moved at that point. But the applicant was able to clarify and fill up that with 45,000 square feet of
additional office space being generated on that site, you had a potential for a similar employment generation amount occurring on the site as if it W as if you compared it against a potential ALF facility. So that that was the totality of the employment generation.
So you're following up in taking um Mr. Goldstein's request forward and m moving that to David Eagle's group to get to the actual analysis.
Yeah we we've worked with OEG throughout on that project and we're gonna work on refining the information for the local planning agency with OEG. Uh and then also with the applicant as well.
And getting the economic analysis done by the office. Okay. Thank you. Sorry, Madam Chairman 'cause it didn't say the
Yeah.
I looked it looked a little different than the other engine items.
Okay, so um I'll take a motion. Does anyone want to speak to sixty-seven? P sixty seven.
And it's
a continuance movement.
Second.
All in favor of the continuance? Aye. Aye. Opposed? Okay. Thank you.
Um, the next one, two, three, four are P VASS, right?
Three. Three. Three.
Oh, yes.
Oh, I should have stopped right there.
Good afternoon, Commissioner.
