Um I just wanna make the point because people have asked if um if we would have some citizen oversight uh committee similar to the school district. And I just wanted to reiterate that we do have citizen oversight committees. We have um on our environmental lands we have an an a

1:36:16committee. that is appointed by the B O C On the jobs and economic opportunities commit.

1:36:27We have the Jobs and Economic Opportunities Committee, the JEOC, appointed by the BOCC. We have the BPAC committee appointed by us that does things all trails and sidewalks. And we have the Citizens Advisory Committee that talks about transportation issues. So we have one, two, three We don't have one oversight committee, we have four.

1:36:56Good afternoon. Sorry about that. Ralph Lair, Intergovernmental Affairs Officer. So today I bring before you the proposed resolution and project list for adoption, for consideration and adoption, in order to set forth the projects to be funded for the 2025 penny for PASCO. While a resolution is not required by floor statute, section two one two point oh five five. It does provide a

1:37:26greater level of detail of how the board intends to use its distribution of the penny proceeds. then is contained in the proposal ordinance and levying the server tax. Um the County Administrator has met with each of you and gone over the attached project list. So

1:37:52That is what's up for consideration.

1:38:00So a couple of things in the list were given. Yeah. I I went over some of the Tweaks that were Not done right, so they're they're fixing that. But uh just to say that the school district of uh Pine View Elementary is actually I think it's district two. As opposed to District Five? Is

1:38:22that the one in uh Collier I think it is? Or Coyer? Pine View. There's Pine View and there's Pine, there's cut there's a few Pines.

1:38:30Boulevard. Uh is this district five? It says

1:38:39And on the bicycle trail connections, we've got them listed where is it? Bayo Bicycle Bayou Trail connection from Rivergulf Boulevard to Bailey Avenue. Um it says partner with the city of Port Ritchie, but I'm just wondering, should Port Ritchie be in the mix as well?

1:38:57I don't know what they wouldn't do as far as I don't do Pasco as both.

1:39:09It will actually also be a coordination with Port Ritchie as well. So Okay, so I mean

1:39:13just saying maybe it should be working that way. And in in some of my discussions we talk about uh Infrastructure being what could be utility lines such as on Connelline Road. Um I think it should also work as far as could be a roadway through or next to an industrial park such as the Vision Road on Hicks Road. Um if we're comfortable keeping the flexibility, I liked as Mr. Carbella said, the flexibility is there to go do it. And lastly, um one of the improvements we're

1:39:43looking at is bring Bridge rehabilitation. Technically the roadway, Old Dixie Highway, has got that bridge that was lowered down that we're trying to like look at. And I would just want to make sure we consider that even though the span of what it is right now may not be full bridge width, but if it can be considered as a project. I'm comfortable.

1:40:08So I think

1:40:11the bridges that are listed here are and again the beauty of how this has been structured is to not bind us. These are projects we feel that we can realistically accomplish within the next five to seven years. The old Dixie Bridge is actually going to be evaluated as part of the trail project and we have a study that's going forward to evaluate the structural capacity of that to support that. And then we can make some decisions on that. I don't think that there's anything in here that would preclude future projects or bind or unbind future boards. The ones that we

1:40:41currently have in here though, we we do feel that we do have um uh priorities on uh due to due to conditions at the bridge. And I've got staff here that can talk to that, but I don't think we've precluded anything by this. It's just not explicitly called out because there's still more to be done.

1:40:58On the same vein I would say there are Um I have brought up numerous road con connections that I think need to be made. Um there's a very small one in my district by um Uh where we bought just bought that new parcel. Um Uh Lake was the Oaks at Riverside? Oaks at Riverside?

1:41:23There's a very small strip that the developer said he would

1:41:26give

1:41:26You don't need to put that on your penny. I really need to put that on your
