Resolution number 23-100, a resolution by the Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County, Florida, congratulating Medfleet LLC on its 30th anniversary with many years of support and dedication to the Pasco County community. Whereas Medfleet L L C was Established in May nineteen ninety three by the Williams family, who at the time was operating a single vehicle out of their station in Zephyrhills, Florida, and whereas since its inception in

51:37nineteen ninety three, Medfleet Inc. has been committed to providing both emergency and non-emergency interfacility transports to in the western and central regions of Florida and whereas Medfleet Inc. was required was acquired by Patient care EMS solutions in February of 2020 and changed their structure and name to Medfleet LLC. And Res Medfleet LLC maintains multiple contracts with area hospitals, nursing homes,

52:07and other health care facilities as its primary mission and partners with county fire departments providing backup 911 service when requested. NRES Medfleet LLC provides A large range of services such as hospital discharges, hospice services, doctors' appointments, outpatient diagnostics, surgical and rehabilitation services, and RAS Medfleet LLC trained professionals will transfer clients. To and from the stretcher, secure them in the vehicle, ensure their comfort

52:37and safety throughout the transport to their destination, and we'll also transport clients by stretcher to an airport or to any destination out of the area. And whereas Medfleet LLC is now based in Hudson, Florida, and has over 30 vehicles in the fleet and over 200 employees that service that services Pasco. Hernando, Pinellas, and Polk Counties. And Res Medfleet LLC serves as a mutual aid partner to our local fire department, fire local county fire departments, ensuring that they have backup

53:08resources in times of high call volumes. And Medfleet LLC also provides L ALS and BLS ambulance medical standby for sporting events, 5K races, and other special events. And RAS, the Board of County Commissioners encourages all citizens to recognize Medfleet LLC for their significant impact it has made and continues to make as a critical part of the emergency medical system and their commitment to the counties they serve. Uh I know you guys have taken it over recently and I wanna say the help that Medfleet gives our fire EMS is phenomenal. Um the help you give other hospitals You take away the burden of the things that We used to do And now when we don't have the time to go do it, you guys can step in and fill a very vital role which helps keep taxes down and still gives provides good service. So uh greatly appreciated. Uh your new

54:26facility is phenomenal. I know you brought our staffs down to take a look at it. So they were very, very impressed with it. So I think you're doing a great job and Uh congratulations.

54:36So I would like to start off by saying thank you to Chairman Mariano and the other commissioners and staff. Um Medfleet has been around for a very long time. We have gone through a lot of change. And when we go from you know, one uh one vehicle in one building thirty years ago to having, you know, four vehicle or sorry, four buildings and over thirty ambulances today. That's a big change. uh when we've gone from a very minimal number of employees we're now up to over two hundred and twenty since so there's been

55:06a jump since the resolution was was written. But those are very positive pieces for us. We are in the county hospitals every day providing not only normal transports but also life threatening transports that will get or life saving that will get the the patients from a facility to a higher level of care. Um it is one thing that the employees Uh if they were here today they would tell you they love going out and taking care of people. Our

55:36motto is people care. Right? That's what we do. We take care of people. And that starts with our folks inside of the company as well as those that we go out and we provide services for. Um we could not do this without the support of the county. uh the support of the fire department. Um I will say that uh life has changed for everyone since the pandemic and where we thought that this whole side of the business may slow down, it's done just the opposite. Last year alone we were over nine and a half percent above the

56:06prior year and this year we're sitting almost nineteen percent ahead of last year. And talking to the hospital CEOs just this past two days, they're like, When does it stop? And I said, I'm I'm not sure that it does anymore. You know, we used to have a lot of seasonality in our in our volume. The seasons have kind of gone away. It's just busy. Hospitals stays are longer by probably twofold. Um when they need our patient, their patients moved out, they call us. Because otherwise what

56:36happens is the fire departments transport into these facilities and now they're stuck. They're waiting for beds to be available. So while we're not necessarily running a lot of 911 calls, the work that we do puts these 911 ambulances right back in service as fast as we can possibly get them there. So from all of the folks at Medfleet, I want to thank you. Um we are celebrating officially the week of the 22nd of this year. It's National EMS Week, Emergency Medical Services Week. We'll

57:06be having an open house on the 23rd. Um I know that's a board day, but um if there's anyone that can come by, we would absolutely welcome it. Um our employees will be there, obviously it will be there, but This is just a really special time of year for the industry as a whole with Emergency Medical Services Week, but especially for Medfleet with our thirtieth anniversary. To add to the community, and some of you are aware already, we've also opened up a new division called Patient Care Community Health. It's truly

57:37to reach out. To those people that don't necessarily need to go to the doctor's office or to the hospital, but we go to their homes and we evaluate them and treat them in their homes. So it's a new area that we've we've recognized is kind of the way of the future and we're trying to grow that and build that. um to go take care of people where it's most appropriate and give them the care that they need.
