Alrighty, resolution number 25-048, a resolution by the Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County, Florida, declaring the month of November as National Hospice and Pallid Care Month and commending Gulfside Health Care Services for its outstanding service and dedication to the citizens of Pasco County. Whereas hospice and palliative care provide the highest quality of care to patients and families and bring comfort, love, and respect for all those they serve in communities across the nation and

40:21here in Pasco County. And whereas a hospice and palliative care providers take the time to ask what's important to those they are caring for and listen to what their patients and families say. And whereas hospice and palative care professions, including nurses, social workers, therapists, counselors, health aides, and clergy, provide comprehensive and compassionate care that makes the wishes of each patient and family a priority. And whereas, through pain

40:52management and symptom control, caregiver training and assistance, and emotional and spiritual support, patients Can live fully until their final moments, surrounded and supported by the faces of loved ones, friends, and committed caregivers. And whereas providing quality, hospice, and palliative care reaffirms our belief in the essential dignity of every person, regardless of age, health, or social status, and that every stage of human life deserves to be treated with the utmost respect and care.

41:22And whereas every year more than 1.6 million Americans living with life-limiting illness and their families receive care from the nation's hospice programs in communities throughout the United States, with 3,938 patients cared for by Gulf Site Hospice in Pasco County, and whereas more than 430,000 Trained volunteers contribute 21 million hours of service to hospice programs annually,

41:53with over 48,000 hours of service being provided locally by Gulf Side's 102 active volunteers. And whereas hospice and palliative care providers encourage all people to learn more about options of care and to share their wishes with families. Family, loved ones, and their health care professionals. Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County, Florida, that said board hereby declares the month of November as National House

Um I'm not gonna come down because I'm not a hundred percent, so I don't wanna

43:21share share my I'm almost over it, but just in case I'm gonna be be cautious. But I I'm sure my fellow board members wanna congratulate you as well. Okay.

43:31I wanna say you guys do a phenomenal job. Uh Linda was a great spearhead when she first joined the organization, but the work you do was greatly appreciated. Thank you.

43:40Thank you, Chairman. Yeah, I mean special calling to do what you guys want to do. And uh not just be with the person who's in transition but for the families and how they cope with that too. So thank you for what you do and um you're an essential part of our community.

43:59Yes. So I I echo what um Commissioner Weightman said. End of life, like for me is is very hard. Some people it's better. Like I I I'm one that struggles with it and hospice is just such a blessing at a time when you know, you need some hope and some some caring and loving and you guys come in and wrap your arms around not only the person but the family and um it's j really amazing and beautiful what you guys do. So thank you.

44:26Yeah. Just thank you for all you do in our community 'cause uh it is it is neat and it's a very sad time for a lot of families. So I've been there with family members and it's it's tough. So And y and you're uh thank you for what you do.

44:41And your new building's come along nicely. Yes, it's opening uh we think in May in New Port Richey. So we're we're proud to have been serving Pasco County for over thirty years. So Thank you so much for your support. We're very grateful. Okay.
