All right, I'd like to welcome everybody today and uh give you some some brief instructions on the How the meeting goes, we're with the Planning Commissioner appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly and we serve as a local Planning agency and whole public hearing. Transmit to the Board of County Commissioners. Our recommendation is on a comprehensive plan amendments, land development Code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. The planning uh commission is the final decision making
body. For special exceptions, certain appeals. variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. Anyone is in opposition? to any d uh land development code amendment. resoning conditional use or any item. Where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend the appropriate county commission meeting. Those of you are not uh familiar with the
format of our meetings, uh they're in three sections. We have continuances. The consent agenda. and regular items. Uh we'll go through uh the continuances. We'll and then we'll go through consent one at a time if anything is uh Uh We read anything on consent that you'd like to have discussed today, raise your hand. We can pull it from consent for discussion. It'll go on to the regular items and those are the items that we That
we have uh uh full conversation on Um applicants will have three minutes to make their presentation. Yeah. Uh citizens that are here with questions will have three minutes. Uh to ask questions of the applicant. And then the applicant will have an opportunity to come back and answer those questions. Um I haven't had any written requests for additional time, so I'm assuming that we don't Have any uh lamb, do we? We don't. And
