Thank you. So we yeah we had the fireboat that we started this project back in pre-COVID days or right around COVID. And the fireboat was out and it can hold several people, four people on a gurney, uh if they if they really need access. And it's been out since July. They had a fire in Gulf Harbors where they went down and it was like

Elevated home up. f fire going from the top. They kept it from spreading from that home. They had two other successes, uh rescue successes. And then for scalloping season they want to go full force where they're out there protecting people. And I think it was just Sunday they had another accident. Boat capsized, they were out there within minutes. One of my friends was out there and says it was amazing how quick they were out there rescuing the people. So you know already saving lives.
We had a storm come up last month at Anclo quay. And um our sheriff and I don't know how many people were involved, but they rescued twenty or thirty people.

Um the the the boat ramp at Anklet was full of ambulances. We had people go to the hospital. It was a storm that came up. Oh, a storm? A storm came up and I think thirteen to seventeen boats capsized. Really? It was just the I've never heard of that. I've never heard of this happening, but it was a disaster out on Anclo uh Anclo Island a couple a couple of weeks ago. So, um With that I think. Let me let me be sure to do that. Oh yeah, I'm sorry.

Sure, sure. And I guess while we're waiting for it, I'll I'll just say that it's it it was went to the uh went to the christening of it and uh it's been it's been a fantastic um uh piece of our of our rescue and keeping the citizens safe. So much so that even even the Coast Guard is is looking to call call on Pasco 'cause we get to a lot of places that they can't So it it's it's really providing safety right now through the weekends. I think uh I don't know, JJ, are we uh we're doing weekends, uh I think it's like Fridays through the weekends when when it's heavy boaters uh
during during the season. So it's uh you know, as commissioners already said, we've we've fought some fires with it and we've made a lot of rescues and getting getting folks. folks, you know, safety on the water is is key. So just thank thanks to the board for approving that and our guys have some great training and uh are doing some good things out there.
