What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

The source document

Published agenda

The county’s agenda for Planning Commission, Sep 3, 2020

The published PDF. Its text could not be extracted — it is an image-only scan — so nothing in it is searchable here, but it reads normally.

Approved minutes

The county’s minutes for Planning Commission, Sep 3, 2020

The published PDF, as served by the county. This item is one entry in it.

What was said

Transcript

Machine transcription of 3m of recording, with speaker names inferred from voice matching. 100% of 14 lines carry a name. It shows what was said, not what was decided, and both the words and the names can be wrong.

Okay, um this is a public comment section. Uh Denise, do we have anything registered for public comment? It's not on the agenda.

Denise

Let me check with the kiosk. Is anyone here? Okay, no comments. I've been being told by the kiosk. No one uh there for public comment on an item that is not on the agenda today. We do have public comments for items that are on the agenda today, but not for this part of the meeting. Thank you.

Charles Grey

So public uh participants attending to the public comment kiosk and WebEx participants. Including the applicants who have pre-registered for the hybrid virtual planning commission meeting, will be notified by the county staff when they are permitted to speak. Applicants vote will be limited to five minutes and other participants will be limited to three minutes unless an additional time has been approved at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. I think we had one request that was approved.

Denise

You have one request for additional time, 10 minutes for item P10.

Charles Grey

No participants attending to the public comment kiosk and Webex participants. must announce the following items before speaking. And at the time they will be sworn by the clerk. their name, their address, their agenda item, or the agenda item item title. then a three three your three to five minute period will start after public comment. He asked him what about this? will uh read into the public record comments, documents, PowerPoints, or videos that

have been identified by members of the public to be read out loud or played at the meeting, limited to five or three minutes as required.

So uh today we have nine public hearing items on the consent agenda. These items will be approved by roll call vote. Most the item is pulled from the consent. Once a motion is made on the consent agenda, the Planning Commission member who makes the motion will state his name. The Planning Commission member who seconds the motion will state his name and the clerk will call the roll. All right. So Denise, are we ready?

You wanna do the advertisement?

Clerk

Mm-hmm. Yes, the items were published in the Tampa Bay Times on August 19th, 2020, August 23rd, 2020, August 26, 2020, or by affidavit of certified mailouts and site postings.

Denise

Should we also do the

Clerk

swearing in?

Charles Grey

Yeah, you you're gonna um Okay.

Clerk

If anybody would like to speak on any of the items today, can you please uh raise your right hand? Do you swear or affirm the testimony you're about to give is the truth so help you God?

Thank you.
