2:30Okay, so for those uh Who have not attended the committee meeting before? Uh the planning commission is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency. We hold public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions. certain appeals, variance requests, and

3:01certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. Anyone is in opposition to any comprehensive plan amendment? Land Development Code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners.

3:27And for those of you who again who aren't familiar with the uh How the meeting is run. We have uh continuances. It's been our custom to uh approve request for continuance by the applicant or the staff. unless the we have an extenuating circumstances. We have a consent uh section. where items uh have been applied for and there's been no opposition by the staff. or by the public. We'll go through those. one at a time and if anything whatever remains on consent.

3:58We'll stay on consent and we'll be voted on at one time and If you if the public here, somebody on staff Here's something that needs to be pulled from consent, just uh notify me, raise your hand or speak and we'll pull it for discussion. And it'll go on to the regular items. And those are the items not placed on consent or ask for continuance. I put we'll have three minutes to make a presentation. And the respondents will have uh three minutes. To state

4:28their concerns. and then the applicant will have some time to uh respond to those concerns.
