Clerk unclaims funds and e-issuance program

What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

you, sir. Clark, Madam Clerk.

Ron Oakley

I do. I have a couple of items. I just wanted to make you and our public aware that the unclaims funds for both the Board of County Commissioners and the Clerks' Offices Office is listed on our clerk's website at um www.pascoclerk.com. It is as a feature story on our homepage. So if uh citizens would like to look to see if they have a check that they did not cache, that it would be

available to them. There's also instructions of how to obtain the funds. And these are checks that have not been cashed in over a year. The other thing I would like to mention is Monday, yesterday, we kicked off a new program in our office with e-issuance. This is a wonderful service to provide. It's an electronic service for issuance of court documents for attorneys, law firms. And also provides

efficiencies for process servers. No, they no longer have to come to the office for documents that need to be issued. And we can do that electronically. So that's a big win. And I'm very excited about that. We had a couple of law firms locally participate as well as process server companies in the pilot program, and it has been successful. So very proud of that. And the last thing I want to mention is that our office also received the budget award and it was for the eighth year in a row. So we have big award

winners here in Pasco County in our in our local government. So thank you.
