EOC meeting notification to assistants

What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Uh I only have one thing uh on our Mr. Biles if you would have whoever sends out the message for the uh the EOC meetings, briefings, that our assistants are included in that so that helps us uh sign on and get you know get that message, get there in time. So there was a little confusion yesterday because some of them were not.

County Administrator

Uh they sent the invite several times and people weren't receiving invites, so they had to work through some technical issues.

Ron OakleyChair

I think I got it four times.

County Administrator

Yeah, you may have gotten more than one invite eventually.

Ron OakleyChair

Right.

County Administrator

But yes, sir, they're working on that.

Ron OakleyChair

Yeah, just just make sure they I think it makes our offices.

County Administrator

And your assistance. And

Ron OakleyChair

Yeah.

County Administrator

So

Ron OakleyChair

we'll validate that. I don't think mine was informed until after after I'd already had it a couple of times.

County Administrator

And the and the intent is to have one this afternoon at three o'clock that assumes that we're done with the public hearing agenda prior to delay that if we need to. Can

Kathryn StarkeyVice Chair

I excuse me a little bit? And um normally I'm not like this this kind of person, but You were on that call. I kinda, you know, asked a question because we were all the way down to the city of San Antonio before they called on a commissioner and I I don't think that was appropriate.

County Administrator

That's being fixed.

Kathryn StarkeyVice Chair

Okay, thank you.

Jack Mariano

Yeah sir. And just to touch on as you're saying it as far as communication, the email on my phone doesn't show up like a text message would. And just

Kathryn StarkeyVice Chair

for yours and the right-of-way.

Jack Mariano

No. I didn't see the email and it was like running around through the day. But later on I get a a text message from Ralph Lair saying, Hey, did you know this meeting was coming up? I go no. Then I look to check the email, saw it was there, etcetera. So one way or another we're gonna make sure that 'cause my assistants let me know either, so maybe I don't and I don't know if they knew either, so yeah, we could just to step that up a little that big right.

Ron OakleyChair

Yeah I think that help follows. Okay. And

Jack Mariano

I think Commissioner Starkey's comments are under the money too.

Kathryn StarkeyVice Chair

Yeah, I think I wasn't the only one who noticed that.
