Okay, thank you. Okay, the Planning Commission is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. We meet twice a month. The Planning Commission serves as the local planning agency. and they hold public hearing and transmit o and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments. Land Development Code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions, certain appeals,

and the first. variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any comprehensive plan amendment, land development code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. It is important that you attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners hearing.
