Thank you. Um as you know, we've been working on some incl uh an inclus inclusive playground on the west side of the county and here is one of the renderings. And if we can What I would like to say is we have C D B G funds and Geo Bond funds. And based on the community input, there is about a $50,000 shortfall. So I am working on fundraising, but I would like to request that the board be in support of covering the gap in the interim so we can move forward with procurement
and construction so it can be open for the kids by this summer. When running the Numbers for children under the or people citizens under the age of eighteen on SSI. In that area, there's four hundred and eleven kids with special needs in that area. So I feel it's very important that we target that area and provide a playground for all children. The next page is just the letter that I'll be going out for donations.
And when they came back to the rendering With the renderings I had requested some additional items. Some of the additional items included monkey bars for upper body strength and They have I know parks in Rechead include some spinning cups and things like that. So if you would like to go to the next slide.
So the additional cost ended up being about a five fi uh fifty thousand dollars. So I would like a ma sh make a motion to move forward

And I already have meetings set up and developers on board.

obviously I'm very supportive of of of this happening on on on the West Side County. I don't think you need to do that yet because uh you have design, you have to pay for you out to procure.

Uh the intent here is we'll cover the gap with general fund while the commissioner goes and raises money to cover the gap. Yeah, I will diligently be out

if we have a we have a Motion and a second. So let's give her a mount of time. If she comes up with the money, great. But if she doesn't, I don't want to see her out just keep on going. It's a very, very poor area. Yeah. Um so we need to make sure it happens. If you can raise the money to offset the difference, then so be it. But we need to find the money if we don't.
