Dedicate universally inclusive playground plaque to young man

What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Thank you, Madam Chair. I just I just have one item and uh I'm actually sad to let you know that one of the young people that were there the first day we opened the universally inclusive playground has passed away. Um you know the day if you were there that day when we when we opened the playground and did the uh ribbon cutting and everything, he was um without naming his name at this time, um he was one of the kids that made all the news stories and the papers and things like that. He was just having a time. So I

was having conversations with some of the folks in our community, especially in the Wesley Chapel community, and I had a conversation with Keith Wiley. and uh we also have communicated uh via contact with the parents as well. We thought it'd be very nice to to to dedicate that playground with a signage or plaque to that young man. So what I would ask today is if you would um please help honor him. And I talked to Keith and we were just asking for up to a up to a thousand dollars to build and make this

um plaque or sign dedication and then when that time comes we'll let you all know because once it's built we will have a little ceremony for and his family will be there. So if I could have a motion or I move. Okay. Thank you.
