What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Have any minutes? Nope.

So I'd like to welcome everyone that's here today. Um Give you a little bit of background on our meetings and how that goes. We're the Planning Commission. We're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency. And we hold public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners our recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, uh conditional use requests, and the planning commission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative

statements requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any Land Development Code amendment? Any rezoning amendment? uh or anything or any item where the Planning Commission transmits their recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners meeting. Those of you not familiar with the format of the meetings, we have three sections, continuances, consent items, and

regular items. And we'll go through these one at a time and Um it's been our c it's been our policy to um uh that when we have a request from the staff or the applicant t uh for continuance to approve those requests. Um and then you'll be notified when the when it's gonna be back on the regular agenda. We have uh consent items. And there are those are items where we've had the application in and no one is subjected or There's any c uh controversy about it from

the staff or the public? We'll go through those one at a time. And uh if there's anything on consent that you'd like to have heard today, please raise your hand and we'll pull it off of the consent agenda and put it on the regular items agenda. And then the regular items will be h fully voted vetted today. The applicants will make their presentations and the public will have a chance to be heard. Applicants have five minutes to make their presentations. And people in the audience will have three minutes to ask their

questions. then the applicant will have an opportunity to come back up. and try to answer those questions best they can. Um

Uh I think was there any requests for extra time today?

Jon Moody

There are no requests for extra time, Mr. Chair.

Charles GreyChair

Y just so you'll know this, if there if you need extra time you have to request it in writing at least twenty four hours prior to this meeting. This is a good time to um remind everyone to silence your cell phones so that it doesn't go off when anybody somebody else is speaking. And uh
