What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

There's no meet twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners our recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning, and conditional use requests. Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special exception, certain appeals. Variance requests and certain alternative standard requests. However, you may appeal

the final decisions to the Board of County Commissioners. Anyone is in opposition to any development, code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where this board transmits a recommendation to the County Commissioner. It's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners.

For those of you who are not familiar with the content of the meeting, we have three sections. We have continuances, we have consent items, and we have regular items. We'll go through each of those one at a time. It's been our custom to grant continuances requested by the applicant or or the staff, unless there's extenuating circumstances. And then we have consent items. We'll go through those

one at a time. If there's something on consent that you'd like to have discussed today, raise your hand when I read it off. We'll be happy to pull it from consent. And put it on with the regular items. Otherwise, the items left on consent will all be voted on at one time and approved. And the regular items then will be heard and discussed fully. The applicants will have five minutes to make a presentation. And

anybody in the audience who has questions about those applications will have three minute three minutes to state their concerns. And then the applicant will have an opportunity to come up and respond to those concerns. And so we'll fully discuss that. We'll try to answer all your questions. questions and um we also want to reserve we have time reserved for public comment on any item that's not on today's agenda. Is someone here to speak on something that's

not on today's agenda?

Yeah, I'm sending one.
