Roll call and approve minutes
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.
The source document

What was said
Machine transcription of 4m of recording, with speaker names inferred from voice matching. 82% of 22 lines carry a name. It shows what was said, not what was decided, and both the words and the names can be wrong.

So for those of you who plan to come up and speak today, give testimony or ask questions. Could you please uh stand, raise your right hand and be sworn, please?
Do you swear from the testimony you're about to give us the truth, so help you God?
Okay.
Yeah.
Appreciate it.
Okay, so welcome today. We're the uh Planning Commission, we're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice a month. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments. rezoning and conditional uses. The Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions. Certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, the final decisions
may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any comprehensive plan amendment, land development code amendment, rezoning, conditional use. uh or any item where the planning commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it's important for you to attend the appropriate county commission meeting. Uh for the for those of you who aren't are not familiar with the pr with the uh procedures here, um there are as follows. We have continuances and
uh that it happens when Usually the staff or the applicant has um requested a continuance for any number of reasons and it's been our tradition to approve those continuances unless they're extenuating circumstances. We have consent agenda and the consent agenda is a list of items where we have ne received no objections from the public or the staff. and they are all on all on one section of the agenda. We go through it. One
item at a time. If there's anything on consent that we bring up. that you would like to have heard, you can raise your hand and we'll pull it from consent. And talk about it today. Then there are just the regular items uh that are not on consent or not requested for continuance but we'll go over those one at a time. The applicants would have three minutes to present their uh case. And uh the objectors or questioners would have Uh Three minutes to Respond
and then the applicant. We'll have a ti have an opportunity to come back and then we'll see. And summarize it uh the answers for any objections that may have been brought up. They'll be given five minutes for that. Um If there has been a request in writing at least twenty-four hours prior to this meeting for extra time, We'd normally grant the extra time, but I don't believe I've seen any requests like that. Denise, correct?
No request, thank you.
