Northeast Rural Area Plan missing commercial transition
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

What was said
Machine transcription of 4m of recording, with speaker names inferred from voice matching. 90% of 21 lines carry a name. It shows what was said, not what was decided, and both the words and the names can be wrong.
Okay. So add one. Um Now, before we go any further, any of you who have phones, including me, please put them in a silent position so we don't interrupt anybody that's that may be speaking. But before we start the regular meeting, I want to open the meeting for anybody here is here to speak on anything that is not on today's agenda. Is anyone here to speak on something that's not on the agenda today? Are
you here for speaking that?
Okay, if you give your name and address please.
Nancy His What [address removed]. I'm here about the Northeast Royal. Okay before you
b excuse me, before you start, I'm just gonna swear everybody in at once that may speak, okay? So if you'll raise your right hand, stand and raise your right hand.
Anyone who plans to give testimony. Okay.
Do you swear or brand?
Yeah. Okay, so Nancy, and you're here to speak of something that's not on today's agenda.
I'm sorry?
You should here to speak on something that's not on today's agenda.
Yes, sir. Okay. Um I live in the Northeaster area plan. So I and some other citizens, it is our major concern over there. Uh the Northeast Rural Area Protected Area Plan is missing some things from the Comp Plan. We still don't have commercial. And uh we don't have a transition area around it. And we've kinda waited a long
time for this. We wonder if you wouldn't put it on your list, you know, like Um The train your staff did do uh some plans for uh the commercial area, this landscaping and design standards, but nothing's happened. I assume they're languishing on somebody's desk somewhere. I'd like to see 'em brought back. and the
Northeast Rural Protected Area Plan finished. Thank you.
All right, thank you, Nancy. Does it any from buddy from the staff has a have a comment?
Okay. Do you have any suggestions?
Mr. Peters is going to get up for you.
Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Nicarios Pito's Planning Development. Just since you asked for uh response, we are working on the Northeast Rural Commercial Standards that would be incorporated into the Land Development Code. My understanding is that they're entering the final draft phase now in that it's going to begin its journey on the road toward a land development code amendment. uh coming up now in the next few months. So it's it's it's uh fairly imminent. Um I don't want to
put an exact date to it because we haven't really published any dates just yet to bring it to the Planning Commission.
All right. Great. Thank you, Terry. I appreciate that. I think that's a gives her a good idea what you're what you're doing, so I appreciate that. Thank you.
Okay.
Yeah, bro, you ready?
