What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

All right, good afternoon. I'd like to call to order the Planning Commission meeting of April third, twenty twenty-five. For this moment, if we can please stand for a moment of silence in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Pledge allegiance to the flag. Okay.

Connected City

Here and Chris said he's on his way. He'll be here in about five minutes.

Okay. So we are the Planning Commission. We're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice a month. The Planning Commission holds public hearing and transmits to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on rezoning and conditional use requests. The Planning Commission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. The

Planning Commission also serves as a local planning agency and as the LPA this body makes recommendations in regard to the consistency with the adopted Pasco County Comprehensive Plan.

of proposed comprehensive plan amendments and land development code amendments. If anyone is in opposition to any comprehensive plan amendment, development code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, it is important that you attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners meeting.

Okay. Um I think we have a set of minutes to approve.

Unidentified speakerVoice C

Move to approve the minutes from September 5th, 2024. Second.

Unidentified speakerVoice A

All right, motion and a second. Any further discussion? All in favor? Aye. Opposed? Motion carries.

Um

At this time, I guess one thing is a reminder I should have mentioned it earlier, but if you have any electronic device, please make sure it's in a silent position so it doesn't disturb anybody during the meeting.
