And uh we have no minutes.
So for those of you who are here with us for maybe the first time, I'm I'll go through you briefly the the nature of the meeting today with the Planning Commission. We're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we s meet twice a month. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearings and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, rezoning and conditional use requests. KIS mission is the final decision-making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests.

However, final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any development, uh code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners, important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners meeting. And we have those dates available for those of you who who need them. Um format is uh is as follows the
three sections. We have uh typically we have continuances Uh that's where the staff or the applicant has requested a continuance for any number of reasons. It's been our custom to approve continuance requests unless there are extenuating circumstances. Uh we have consent and those are items where we've not heard an objection from uh the public and we go through those one at a time. If there's anything on consent. that you'd like to have heard today, please raise your hand when we
go through that item and uh we'll pull it for discussion. Otherwise it'll remain on consent and uh we'll vote on it all in one time. Then the regular items are though those items that are neither
And we'll go through those and fully vet those today. Applicants will have five minutes to make their presentation and the public will have three minutes to ask the questions or state their concerns. And then following the presentation. the uh applicant will have an opportunity to come back and answer answer any questions that were raised during that time.
