Okay. Well one of the reasons I wanted to wait till after lunch was because I knew we'd have a bigger crowd. And well I wanna share um every month I'm gonna do something for public safety and their numbers. So last week was National Police Week. Hey guys, wait, don't leave. You have to hear how awesome our public safety team is. Oh yeah, it'll take one second. All right. The Sheriff's Office responded to more than 6,800 calls for service. They also conducted more than a thousand traffic stops
and conducted more than 300 welfare checks. And for our fire rescue. They had 8,875 calls and 283 motor vehicle car accidents, 27 structure fires, and 137 calls for special ops. So I just want to do that every month so everybody realizes how hard our public safety team works day in and day out to keep us safe. So thank you, you guys can go now. All
right. So here are some of my commissioner items. I've got to had the privilege of reading to two preschools, so you guys know that that is my favorite thing. So next slide. Uh we had a for the our Elfers Senior Center, we had a big drop off to ref to uh restock their senior store and our pilot program is going great over there by the way. Did someone donate that? Yes. Very nice. All right, next one. This is our um pantry pop up at Winter Paradise. We
uh fed fed eighty six families and that was Grace's food pantry. And this community is so thankful. There's a lot of um children, young children and families living in in this park and they are so thankful while we were there. So All right, next one. So while we were out of town, our staff went to the Habitat for Humanity, so they volunteered. And they had a great time. I heard Paula can really paint, so might have to put her to work. All right, and that's
all I have. And then of course I was in Arkansas with the group for about six days. So and she's got the scars to prove it. Yes. We um I probably shouldn't be saying this, but we they had this bike first bikeable and walkable building that went like this. In the world. In the world. And I was on a scooter that I've never ridden in my life. So um yeah, I ran Yeah. But um tight turns. Very tight turns. So um but lots of great takeaways from
