All right. Well we'd like to welcome everybody that's uh here today and um Well wouldn't. give you a little background about our meetings and how they're run. We're we're the planning commission. We're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet tw uh twice monthly. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearing. And transmit uh to the Board of County Commissioners recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments. Uh rezoning and conditional use requests.
Planning Commission is the final decision making body for special exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, Final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition. to any uh development code amendment, rezoning, conditional use or any item where the Planning Commission transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners It's important for you to attend the poor appropriate Board of County Commissioners.
For those of you who are not familiar with the uh format of the meetings, we have Three segments we have continuances. Uh we have uh ca those those are Applications where the either the staff or the applicant has asked for continuance for any number of reasons. It's been our uh uh practice to grant con those continuances uh You know, on a uh on the needed basis. We have uh uh consent
items. Those are items where we haven't received any objections from the staff or the or the public. We'll go through those items one at a time. If anybody uh Here's a item that is on consent that we'd like to have heard and discussed today. Raise your hand as I read through the consent items and we'll pull it from consent.
Those other items the stay on consent will be voted on one time and approved uh a after we finish going through them. Then we have the regular items. Those are the items that are not continued and not on consent. Those are the items that will be heard today and fully discussed. Uh applicants will have three minutes to make their presentation. and uh public will have uh three minutes to state their uh various concerns if there are any. Following the presentation and then the applicant will have an
opportunity uh five minutes traditionally to uh to respond. If there has been a request for extra time, at least twenty-four hours in advance in writing, and I don't think there has been To my knowledge. Uh we may grant that time. Uh Terry, are you aware of any requests?
