So I'd like to welcome everybody. We're at the Planning Commission. We're appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and we meet twice a month. We serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearings and transmit to the Board of County Commissioners our recommendations on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, every zonings, conditional use requests, and the planning commission is the final decision-making body for special accession.
However, and final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone is in opposition to any comprehensive plan amendment, Development, code amendment, rezoning, conditional use, or any item where the Planning Commission rep uh transmits a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. Uh it's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners. We have a list of those dates if you need them. For those of you who are not familiar with the meetings,
have been here before. Um we have three sections really. We have uh continuances and continuances are where the uh the staff or the applicant has asked for a continuance for any number of reasons and uh it's been our uh uh uh s or stance to uh approve those continuance requests unless there are extenuating circumstances. We also have consent agenda and those are items that the staff
has not received any objections to and uh there are no uh uh people here to object. So we're gonna go through that item by item basis. If you hear anything on consent that you would have like to have discussed today, you can raise your hand as we go through it, and we'll pull it from consent for discussion. Go on to the regular items, and those are the items that will be fully vetted today. We'll have a chance to hear and speak to those items. Applicants will have three
minutes to make their presentation, and uh the public will have uh three minutes to state their concerns, and following the presentation, uh the applicant will have an opportunity. opportunity to respond. In some cases we've been we received a request in writing twenty four hours prior to this meeting for additional time. And I think there have been a couple of those we've granted extra time to. Is that not right right, Ms. Hernandez?
