What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Okay. All right, well then I'd like to welcome everybody today. Um we're the Planning Commissioner Weight appointed by the County Commissioners and we meet twice a month. Uh we serve as a local planning agency and we hold public hearings, transmit to the Board of County Commissioners our recommendations. on comprehensive plan amendments, land development code amendments, land develop uh rezoning, and conditional use requests. Planning Commission is the s is the final decision making body for special

exceptions, certain appeals, variance requests, and certain alternative standard requests. However, the final decisions may be appealed to the Board of County Commissioners. If anyone's in opposition to any rezoning or Dulff of Development Code Amendment, uh, or conditional use or any item on the Planning Commission that makes a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners. It's important for you to attend the appropriate Board of County Commissioners. For those of you not familiar with the format, it is as follows.

We have three sections, continuances. And that's where uh the staff or the applicant has asked for a continuance for any number of reasons. It's been our custom to approve those requests unless there are extenuating circumstances. We have consent. And uh those are items where we have not received any objections from the staff or the public. We'll go through those one on one at a time. If there's anything that we read that you wanna have pulled uh from consent and heard today. uh that you have questions about,

uh raise your hand, we'll pull it from consent and it'll go on to the regular items, which is the third item uh group and uh those are things that'll be heard today for open discussion. The applicants will have three minutes to make their presentations and And the questioners will have th the uh three minutes to ask their questions, and then the applicant will have an opportunity to come back up and uh respond to your questions. Um Typically we give the applicant five minutes to

respond and Unless there's been a a written request for additional time, which I don't believe there has been. Am I correct, Denise? Yeah.

Denise

Correct, Mr. Chairman
