Inspector general peer review
What the county recorded
This item is not from the published agenda
This archive found it in the recording: a call to order, a recess, or business the board never listed. The county recorded nothing about it, so everything below is our reading.

Okay, thank you. Mr. Steinstone? I don't have
anything of general general import at this late hour. I'll uh
I understand, but I'll add something to you here in a minute. Okay.
I have um a quick item just to um it uh inform the board. Um mentioned probably uh late last year that um our inspector general department is looking to be peer-reviewed and that's the mark of excellence um in in the auditing world. And we have initiated that process. Some of you and your uh management team would um have gotten an email from my Inspector General saying that your name was provided to the outside auditing firm that is
going to conduct the audit of the Inspector General and to seek stakeholder feedback in regards to how the inspector general has conducted their audits. And the not everyone will be selected, the individual will pick from the group. Her name is Erica Smith and she is the Deputy Inspector General of Audit and Review for the New Orleans Office of Inspector General. And if you are selected, the interviews take place on July twelfth or July 13th. So I just wanted to
make the board aware of that. Thank you. That's it.
