Good morning again. It is my uh pleasure to present to you for confirmation uh our new solid waste director, uh Justin Russler. Justin is a uh holds a doctorate in environmental engineering from the University of Florida and is a professional engineer in the state of Florida. Uh you've worked with him uh on many issues uh during his tenure as assistant director, and most recently in the past eight months as the inter Терм директор о Solid Waste Department. Uh during uh the interviewing process we interviewed
multiple candidates, cast a wide net, nationwide search looking at uh advertising in Solid Waste Association, uh as well as uh other other engineering avenues, and through Multiple interviews, both with field staff to senior leadership, Mr. Russler was the clear choice. Uh he has my utmost confidence and I recommend that you uh confirm him as our newest solid waste director to lead that department into the future.

I know we had I had an issue that um Senator Frasano sent over, I think it was last month, and you took care of it like within twenty four hours. And it was a constituent issue. They had gone to him first, and he brought it to obviously to me. And so you're but you're you're always responsive. We appreciate it. And it's it's great working with you and look forward to a bright future for you. You'll maybe even sometime you can take his job over when he retires.

Justin was a uh on the ground with the boots on the ground when we cleaned out that Leisure Lane area, uh working with Mike and John Batista, a company, uh really cleaned that up area in a tremendous way when it really needed it. Um And I also love the fact that when I would truck t worked on that vision road up in Hicks Ave uh Hicks Road how you were like very responsive to the group that was up there about trying to use the ash leachate that uh the ash that we have in the landfills which is great to use for the road base, so
I appreciate all your openness to go kind of get out there in the field and actually help to get things done. So wish you all the best.
