8:35I wanna know what they're gonna do about the flooding on [address removed]. It is very bad. Sometimes we can't get out, I'm late for work. Sometimes my husband has to walk to work because I can't get my car out or I can't get home. Second, I wanna know about the bushes and the trees with the pond and the uh back of our yard. They're overgrown. We can't even see our lakes. And the neighbors next door also want to know what's going to be done about it. Second. I wanna know when

9:05the house is gonna be torn down. Third, I wanna know what are you gonna do about the homeless people in the area and the break ins and the people going up the homes, shooting off firecrackers at the front door and leaving them there. This is what I want to address and I want to know what's going to happen and how long it's going to take to get these problems resolved.

9:40go ahead. To all commissioners, Sheriff Knocko, to the County Administrator from Green Key neighborhood. As I sh as I'm sure you all know, Pasco County has a homeless problem. The problem seems to have increased with the push north from southern count counties. The issue I'm bringing up to date. is that the Green Key area. This area has had an increase of homeless moving up to the area more so with the changes in the leisure lane and surrounding streets.

10:10There are now three or four camps in the Green Key area. With this increase of camps, we have also seen an increase of drug and drug dealers. There are homeless walking in the streets at all hours and even coming to doors asking for handouts. This is very unsafe due to several older single ladies living in the area. There are piles of trash and garbage on the streets outside the camps. There's been fights in these camps. Trash piling up just makes the area a dump site for others looking for somewhere to dump their trash. We have asked for

10:40help from Code and Sheriff and the sheriff, but have had little help in getting this problem solved. I have written letters to the property owners with only one response. That owner said they had tried to get them off, but police told them he could not put them off or he could go to jail. We we have tried to get the health department to help with this. These camps fall under Florida Statutes 386.014, Nuisance Endurance to Health, Florida Statutes 386.01, Sanitary Nuisance. Florida

11:11statutes 386.03 notice to remove. These living conditions without proper waste removal cause major health concerns. The health department came out one time and walked the area and said there were some camps, but did not detect any odor or nuisance. Common sense tells us these people are going somewhere. One trip out may not work. All being asked is more help. in correcting homeless problems and drug problems in this area. The slow or no reaction to these problems is causing this area to go downhill fast.

11:41But the taxpayers are going up, the taxes are going up. The county, city, and all commissioners need to work together, clean up this area, and use the same ways to clean up other parts of the county. Pasco is better than this. Let's make it happen. Cheryl and Ron Orchard.
