On March twelfth, twenty twenty, the Board of County Commissioners declared a local state of emergency after the governor issued executive order twenty-fifty one and twenty-fifty two, public health emergency and state of emergency related to COVID nineteen. The Board has chosen to hold its meeting with a quorum physically present utilizing communications media technology for the public and team members to participate. The detail a detailed advertisement was run in the Tampa Bay Times indicating the board's

intent to conduct a hybrid virtual meeting. On September 25th, 2020, the governor executed Executive Order 20-244, moving the state into phase three of the governor's Safe, Smart, Step-by-Step Order, which was extended by Executive Order 20-297, issued on November 24, 2020. Large gatherings of over fifty people are still not recommended to c congregate in any public space that does not readily allow for

appropriate social distancing. State Attor Surgeon Generals. public health advisory is still in place with regard to maintaining social distancing and avoiding gatherings of ten or more people. public is afforded an opportunity to make public comments either in writing or by the use of communications technology that has been provided. The Board adopted resolution twenty one eighty two On June 30th, 2020, establishing the procedural rules for hybrid virtual meetings, such as the one being held

today. As with any meeting that you take action, you are required to take public comment on any proposition pursuant to section 286.0114 Florida statutes. I'm available for any questions.
