I'm not sure who wrote that or if they have any experience in the development business. But if there were a population with the median household income there to support a grocery store, there would be one. And you can go down and you can call Publix and you can call Aldi and you can call Kroger and here's all their site selection criteria you can give to the planners. But until there's twenty thousand people in two miles and they have a median household
income of fifty thousand and up there's not gonna be a grocery store. Maybe you might get saved a lot. Mm-hmm. But you still need the twenty thousand people. They'll just do less than fifty thousand dollars. But That kind of recommendation, that just tells me that person has no experience in how a community develops. I think you got a question. when you start to see recommendations like that. The redevelopment of Lakuchi is not
going to be spurred on in my opinion because we host the farmers market. All right. I mean we need some serious proposals. I think the things about rail and the transportation, these are all things that are going to bear fruit. if they're marketed properly and of course you may have to fight the residents down there about that, but
pronouncements of, you know, we're gonna build a grocery store there. No we're not. And I can tell you that the mayor of the city you came from ain't gonna build one there either. He thinks he's gonna, but it ain't gonna happen. Or if it does it's bound to fail. So I
I know it was mentioned too, it's you know it's well within the n northeast rural area overlay and so you know there's a lot of folks that protect that tooth and nail. So, you know, I I I I think it makes sense probably to amend that for redevelopment of Lakuchi, but that's just something to bear in mind as as you're going forward that uh there's probably gonna be some opposition to that too. Uh Okay.

I mean I I think there's a fine balance here. I mean obviously the the intent i is um I mean everybody knows what the intent is and it's for that. It's just those are
constructive comments. I'm just saying it needs to be based in reality. And um there are things in the report which I think are based in reality. You have a rail railroad is a resource that you need to figure out how to capitalize upon that resource. Spur on that railroad. Yes.
