National Community Planning Month award to David Goldstein

What the county recorded

This item is not from the published agenda

It is a stretch of the recording that this archive identified as a separate matter — a call to order, a recess, or something taken up that the agenda does not list. There is no official title, no staff recommendation and no disposition, because the county never recorded one. Everything below is inferred.

Let me I I'll do the presentation. Okay, okay So October is National Community Planning Month and um as a r because it's National Community Planning Month I wanted to recognize um a very important person to the planning program and the planning process here in Pasco County. Deputy's be sitting on the dais right now, Mr. David Golstein. Alright. He does a lot of work for the Planning and Development Department.

He does a uh uh he works for the county attorney's office, yes, but the Planning and Development Department is very grateful uh to Mr. Goldstein for all of his help over the years, because he's been doing this for many years. We have internal to our department what we call a service excellence award. It's given to our staff when they undergo difficult circumstances or prolonged for prol and excel in their work for prolonged periods of time. Mm. Um and sometimes it can be difficult working with planning, not gonna lie. Um but

very uh very um we're very appreciative of Mr. Goldstein's help and I just wanted to present the certificate and our uh coin here to Mr Damon Goldstein.

Charles Grey

Along with the check for ten thousand dollars. So thank you, Karen.

Jon Moody

You do not have to do this and um See what you would have missed? I'm glad I didn't leave. Uh but I wanna apologize to the planning department because I will admit that sometimes I act more like a planner than a lawyer. Um but that isn't obvious from some of my comments to Planning Commission. Uh so I will apologize for wearing a dual hat but I appreciate the recognition. Yeah. I appreciate the

recognition.

Annabelle Ryler

Yeah.

Jon Moody

Thank you so much. And so I also want to apologize for having to leave. I did want to hear everybody's comments on the plan, but John's fully capable of making those comments without me here. So

my wife and kids are gonna kill me if I stay in the house. Thank you, David. Bye. See
