Thank you. Oh, I'm sorry, shouldn't known that. Nancy Hayswood, [address removed]. You know I visited a lot of county meetings on different subjects over the years. The word that I most hear about is growth. Even during and before the recession, you heard it. The county talks about it like it's a wonderful thing. I think thousands and thousands of your citizens would disagree while waiting in traffic
and seeing their taxes go up with the overall burden of the cost of living here nowadays. Years ago, the county asked ULI, Urban Land Institute, to take a look at pros and cons of PASCO. One of the things they came back with is Pasco has enough growth and recommended it's time to take a look at how to manage the growth. In the past I have heard staff from Pasco's Management and Budget Office actually tell the commissioners that growth
doesn't pay for itself. Isn't it time Pasco took a step back and re examined the way we grow, find some find some relief from the burden its citizens are carrying. It seems every time the county builds a new road to relieve traffic, the road is almost immediately overbuilt with high density developments and sometimes it even it's even before the roads finish. There are new groups forming to add to those already in existence right now all
over Florida. They want the governments to take a look at the road congestion, the fatalities, how the water supply is coping, how much open space is left. These are just some of their concerns. The everyday citizen of Pasco does not think we are a premier county and would like some relief from the day-to-day grind. In Northeast Rule, it seems like the county is out to destroy the open space and quality of life. Again, a step back is needed to re-examine
the real the rural lifestyle and finish writing the Northeast Protected Area Zorinus, which was supposed to have been completed in 2008. Thank you.

And I'm here to talk about Traffic.
Um right now Pasco County has passed over 70 fatalities. The roads are right now I actually was late to this meeting because right now there is a development going on on County Road 54 and Gateway. which has caused us delays Um I have pictures that I can show you on my phone that I just took. It takes us
twenty minutes to get out of our residences and to get back in because of the road work that they've been doing for over a month. Not only that, but my car has been damaged by the barrels that they put in the road, that they are not putting an evenly And the other issue I have is The lack of traffic signals. I have
seen, witnessed accidents. People trying to turn on a light When the light is getting ready to turn read, I've actually seen people T-boned. I myself was T-boned And My car was total, thankfully I was not hurt badly. But I am seeing traffic lights go up, At intersections that need turn
signals at all four. of the corners, and I'm seeing two or three And the in these fatalities right now Pasco is at 77 Fatalities, Pasco County. Pasco County and I have proof of that. Pasco County is cl closing in on 3,000. accidents with twenty five hundred injuries causing hosp hospitalization.
That's not counting the motorcycle fatalities because people are not paying attention or not seeing them. So traffic definitely needs to be taken care of. Because if you come down State Road 56 to 301 at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, you will sit through seven. different light signals because you're bottlenecking State Route 56 into a two-lane road that backs
up past the Hillsborough County line. These are facts. My husband commutes to Tampa every day And every day he sits through that many lights. And then you've got the light that you needed to put by the new subdivision and the mobile home park on 301 that backs up traffic from Chansey to that light. So when people are trying to make the left off the state road 56, they block the intersection on 301, so you
can't turn. So traffic is definitely a hazard, you're taking your life into your hands driving in Pasco County. I've been in three major accidents. And I commuted to Tampa for forty seven years and never got in an accident. Out here I've been in three and they weren't my fault.
